Printers & Scanners
Faculty and staff are asked to be conscientious when using the printers:
Students can use a printer in the computer lab. This printer is used like other Baylor student printers on campus using PawPrints either from one of the computers in the lab or from a computer with PawPrints installed
If the printer runs out of paper or toner, call 6400 using the phone in the lab.
Call the TechPoint at 254-710-8324 (TECH); their hours are listed here.
There is also a scanner in the computer lab available for student use. It needs to be operated from the adjacent computer.
To use the scanner:
1. Make sure that HP Scanjet 8200 is on (the power button should show a green light).
2. Lift the lid, place your document on the glass face down, and close the lid.
3. Log into your account on the computer to the right.
4. Click the Windows icon on the bottom left of the computer screen.
5. Click Devices and Printers.
6. Double-click hp Scanjet 8200.
7. Click the SCAN button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
8. Name the scan in the new pop-up window.
Faculty and staff are asked to be conscientious when using the printers:
- print only the pages that are needed
- don't print multiple copies (use copier to make additional copies; if making copying over 25 total pages, use Baylor Copy Services)
- print 2-sided when possible
- only use the color printer only when color pages are necessary
