What is the fastest way to find an answer to my technology question?
Here's something that most IT people do: use Google.
Think about the most precise way to describe your problem and post the key words into the Google search window.
More than likely you are not the first person to have this question.
Just the other day, I wanted to repair a friend's broken laptop power and needed to get inside the laptop; I Googled "power jack Latitude D610" and found a YouTube video that walked me through each step.
Computer is not working:
1. Have you tried turning it off and on again?
2. Does it have power (charged or plugged in)?
3. Call (254-710-4357) or email the Baylor technology HelpDesk.
AirBear does not connect:
1. Select AIRBEAR WPA2 from your list of available networks. Enter your Bear_ID and Password and click Join/OK. If prompted, enter your computer admin password to accept the server certificate. 2. Some laptops have a wireless switch along the edge; also check that wireless is enabled (usually on the top menu bar of a Mac in a fan-shaped icon or on the bottom menu bar of a PC in a stair-step icon).
3. Occasionally, you may may have to enter your login information multiple times.
If you are using Baylor's web-accessed Outlook email and are asked to repeated log back in:
You may be using multiple devices to access this account. make sure that her password is updated on all devices. If it is not, then it may cause this type of problem if one of the devices has an old password stored instead of the new one.
